A LITTLE HISTORY AND SEA SCIENCE

Marine elements are our planet’s life source. The benefits of the sea have been known for thousands of years. In the 17th Century, Rene Quinton (Biologist) experimented with seawater and demonstrated its similarities between that and human blood plasma.

In the 18th Century, the idea of a sea resort for rest and relaxation developed and included the utilisation of seawater baths which progressed into the 19th Century and led to the development of Thalassotherapy Centres.
